Never fail brake

Our fail-safe braking system ensures the chair stays where you put it. When the operator is not guiding the chair, the brake will be engaged, thus providing a safe and secure platform for occupant entry and exit.

Options for hand placement:

There are two methods to disengage the brake while
pushing the Staxi chair:

Grip:

Staxi’s handlebar can be gripped with fingers and thumb squeezing the handle bar and brake bar together.

Thumbless Pushing:

Fingers and thumb are aligned. With two hands, the brake bar can be pushed to reach the handle bar.

Easy exit and entry

The brake on all Staxi chairs requires active disengagement from the operator, this means Staxi’s never roll out from under an occupant as they are sitting or standing. Lifting arm rests allow easy side entry and eliminate the back-tiring operator chore of raising and lowering footrests.

Non-folding frame

Staxi docking stations are an attractive, high-capacity storage solution for your transport chairs. Constructed of durable stainless steel and with integrated instructional signage, docking stations clearly identify where Staxi’s should be stored and have capacity limited only by the space that you have available.

Corrals

Staxi’s sleek stainless steel construction means our corrals may be used wherever needed – indoors or out. Each corral holds 5 chairs (without side mounted O2 tank holders) and capacity may be extended by placing two corrals back-to-back. Add a security gate to lock the corral and secure chairs when they are not in use.
