I’m writing to say how pleased we are with the Staxi chairs. Our pre-op department did an enormous amount of research before purchasing more wheelchairs for their area. The nurses were so surprised with the ease of use with your design. Patients are able to sit and be transported with little effort. The nurses are not hurting their backs or struggling to move heavier patients. This is a win with our mobility team. The other departments within our facility loved the chairs so much that we have ordered several more in a variety of colors to identify where the chairs belong. Recently we also purchased chairs that are compatible with the MRI. The chairs are more expensive than a standard wheelchair, however the benefits supersede the cost. Thank you for this amazing product.

We purchased our Staxi wheelchair over 15 years ago and it still looks almost new. Just had to change the chair pad that had gotten worn down. Would recommend this chair hands down for its quality and ease of use.

This chair is terrific and my team is very appreciative of what it can do. Even though it was designed to transport patients, it is also a Radiologic Technologists best friend. The Staxi wheelchair is one of the best tools I have been able to provide for my staff at the Diagnostic Centers. It has always been a struggle to position patients who are unsteady or a little large when using a basic stool or some sort of task chair for upright imaging. In these cases, the patient has to be moved to obtain the image. Many of our patients are elderly or have health conditions making them a potential “fall risk” if placed on a small stool or task chair. In these instances, another individual or technologist must stand out in the room with the patient causing them to be radiated as well. The Staxi chair provides a safe chair for our unsteady patients, keeping them from a potential fall off a stool or out of a chair that may roll out from under them. Once the patient is seated in the Staxi chair, the technologist can easily manipulate the chair at the upright board since it has a small turning radius along with the ability to make minor adjustments with the chair versus a technologist trying to move the patient on a smaller stool / chair. These small adjustments using the chair save the technologist time in positioning to obtain optimum imaging. With the adjustments completed, the technologist can lock the wheels so the patient does not need to worry about a “potential fall”. It also means less exposure to the others who may have stood in the room to reassure the patient and keep them from a potential fall.

I like your product. Staxi products just makes sense. Of course we are only using the medical and Maxi chairs here. Also, I was just in Charlotte Intl Airport this weekend and believe I saw a number of your products there as well. I probably will be around here for about a year but already making plans and purchases for down South. Stay Tuned. That order 11 years ago was my first transition purchase at this location to get Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare to move away from traditional wheelchairs in high use locations. And, those products are still functioning today like they did the first day in use. I had been at this location for a year at that time, relocating from Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter Florida. We love our Staxi wheelchairs. We used to purchase standard wheelchairs. Often other departments would ‘borrow’ them and they would return with missing arms and legs. We saw the Staxi in another department and thought that is PERFECT. We purchased our first two Staxis over 15 years ago and they still work great. I would not want to use any other wheelchair.

We love it because it is so easy to steer and the brake is so much better than trying to set the breaks on a regular wheelchair. Our hospital is an older one and some areas are hard to get in and out of but with the Staxi it turns so easy that we can maneuver around almost any corner. The patients brag about how much better it feels and how comfortable it is compared to the regular wheel chairs. The Staxi rolls so much more smoothly than the wheel chairs we have. Other departments come to borrow ours because they like it so well.

The Staxi chairs are work horses, in all the many years, I think 6 or 7 years so far that they have been in use at Westmount Dialysis.

The new chairs are being used hourly and are loved by the staff. Can’t tell you how many times I have been thanked for the Ranger chairs over the Max chairs we have. We have a bariatric center but rarely need the larger Max chairs. Great job to Staxi for developing the Ranger.

I am a patient at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. I use Staxi every time I am there. Best chair of all. Easy to get into. Less restrictive then other chairs. Had to get one for at home. Width prefect for home use. Have recommended this chair to relatives. Easy to get into and less restrictive because of the movable arm rest. Arm rest is higher than other chairs and thus easiest to get out of the chair by myself without needing an attendant’s help. This is a great chair for more independent living. Easy to get in and out of chair without need of an attendant. Actually going to save me a lot of not needing added help which makes the cost of the chair a real bargain. Plus the nonrestrictive arms make it very comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time then any other chair. My knees love you all.
